Moving is a traumatic experience. Losing track of important moving documents will add to the tension of your move. Prepare these moving papers in advance of the relocation. Forms and receipts should be kept close at hand because you’ll need them for a variety of tasks related to your upcoming shift.
A moving company will give you a written estimate or quote for your move after inspecting your home in person. It will cover transportation costs, labor, moving insurance, all of the services you’ve discussed, storage and container costs, and a few extras. A non-binding estimate, a binding estimate, or a binding not-to-exceed estimate are the three forms of estimates. To protect your move, you should consider one of them.
This statement illustrates the final charges depending on the actual weight and services, as well as the final cost of your shipment. Your interstate mover can provide you with a final Statement of Services after your belongings have been delivered.
The Order of Service, which includes moving estimate specifics, pick-up and delivery dates, and any special services, will be attached to your bill of lading by the moving company.
