Hole-in-the-wall restaurants in the city serve consistently high-quality food that, in many cases, outperforms that of larger chain restaurants in terms of both quality and price. Shell Oyster Bar and Tan’s Asian Cafe come to mind, but there are a plethora of other options throughout the area. Don’t be afraid to branch out and try something different every now and then.
Continuous Development
Since Tallahassee is continually expanding, city employees are constantly involved in projects. Most of the construction is taking place in downtown and the surrounding area, which means there will be some traffic on weekdays, particularly along Monroe Street.
Camping sites are everywhere
Outdoor enthusiasts may camp for free at Seacrest Wolf Preserve, Torreya State Park, and Providence Canyon State Park.
